RESOURCE DATABASE SPECIALIST

General Statement of Duties:
Actively participates as a member of the 211 Information and Assistance team; is responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the comprehensive database(s) of human and social service programs,government agencies and pertinent information and resources available to our service areas. This individual will work in a multi-functional, fast-paced, confidential call center & is responsible for keeping complete and accurate documentation.   

Qualifications:
Candidates must have a high school diploma. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Basic English grammar, punctuation and spelling. Three years experience in information and referral, research, social services, library services or related field: combined experience/education considered in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.  CRS/CIRS certification preferred (must be CRS certified within appropriate time frame).  Excellent database-related computer skills; experience with taxonomy and cataloguing systems; experience in research and data entry. Familiar with the structure and contents of the AIRS/INFO LINE Taxonomy of Human Services. Detail oriented, flexible, cooperative, motivated and dependable. Knowledgeable in community, regional and state resources. Demonstrates active listening and problem solving skills..

NUTRITION PROGRAM ASSISTANT

General Statement of Duties:
Assist Nutrition Coordinator with gathering data for monthly reporting requirements; performs complex secretarial work. Provide supervision. Must be able to work with minimal instruction or supervision. Responsible for inititaing, coordinating and implementing clerical and secretarial functions usind administrative policies and procedures. Assist with managing food handling delivery. Assist with activity planning for all NWICA managed locations.  

Qualifications:
Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills both oral and written. Able to travel locally. Prior supervisory skills a plus. Skills: Microsoft Office data entry skills required. Must be insurable under the agency's liability policy.
